On moving in a truck was unnecessary occupying 3 Parkin spots and the staff said they wouldn't ask the driver to straight the truck, I found I told not particularly professional as people weee waiting to drive in

The service was very helpful finding the best and most economical solution and I am very happy with the storage space which is clean and dry and easily accessed. I was also very grateful to receive some help lifting heavy boxes into my car Yes I certainly recommend this branch of Shurgard.

Great service, nice and clean facilities. I was a little misled by one of the Shurgard employees but altogether it was a great service at a great price (£1 promotion, including insurance and something else which I've currently forgotten, came to under £27 for a month's rental of 90sq ft - bargain!

using the terms & conditions when someone leaves the storage I have a 100ft unit to be emptied in cheshire and will bring the contents to London however it wont be stored with yourselves.

after several phone calls and web browsing, luckily I came across Shurgard Kensington branch, I made my initial inquiry over the phone which was handle by Joe who explained every little details regarding my storage need in a very informative, professional, detailed and calm manner! Joe answered all my questions which made feel very comfortable and happy to visit Kensington branch. On site I impressed by the level of security and how quick & efficient Joe & the team cater for my storage need. The units sizes & prices are amazing the first month special offer is a very good deal you just can't go wrong with it. I found my whole experience to be excellent, thank you Shurgard, thank you Joe & team.

Huge mix-up that still remains unresolved one week after checking in. I initially called to inquire about storage at Shurgard KENNINGTON. The person I spoke with was confusing in the information she relayed so I had to clarify a couple of times, at which point she put me on hold (presumably to check on her end?). But we proceeded with the payment, and I thought everything was in order. The next day (the day of the reservation), I gave the post code in the email I received to the movers, and I realised that the reservation given to me was in fact in Shurgard KENSINGTON. I didn't mind the change in location as much if the amounts were not to my disadvantage and assuming no further problems will be found. However, upon speaking to the office staff at Shurgard KENSINGTON, it was found that the reservation prepared for me was in Shurgard KENSINGTON but the contract information and amounts/payments were for Shurgard KENNINGTON. As such, the Shurgard KENSINGTON office asked me to make a payment and I had to tell them that I already paid over the phone. It turned out that the Shurgard KENSINGTON unit is actually smaller and thus cheaper than the one intended in Shurgard KENNINGTON, but it was sufficient for my requirements so that was ok for me. I was told that the adjustments to my account will be made asap and I will be advised within a couple of days about the amounts adjusted and the credit/balance afterwards. However, it's been a week already and I have not heard anything yet. I chose Shurgard because the pricing was competitive and the information in the website appeared very professional compared to some of the others I've found. However, my experience has shown that customer service needs a lot of improvement. I would also like to suggest a review of the duration at which the gates are kept open when accessing the storage facility outside of office hours. I've visited the facility twice outside office hours using my access code and I have noticed that the gates remain open for far too long after the customer has entered or exited the facility. This may give unauthorised persons an opportunity to enter the facility after the customer has entered/exited and is no longer in sight. Please consider shortening the duration of the gate openings or alternatively have motion sensors so the gates do not stay open unnecessarily long.
