To whom it may concern

I was dealt with by the manager at the Hatch End branch, David. I have never dealt with any member of a management team who has no idea of the processes that take place within their company. I was told one thing and then he reneged on what was originally said. He told me to come into the store on two different occasions to sort the issue out but when I went into the store he still could not provide me with what I required at the price he had originally quoted. While in the store he told me he needed a break and had to go outside for a cigarette. Moving and putting your items into storage is stressful enough without the added stress of an incompetent person dealing with you. He eventually contacted his area manager who immediately sorted out the issue and provided me with the price that David had originally quoted for the storage unit.

The rest of the staff where helpful and knew all the processes and what they were doing. I am baffled how this person could be managing a store with his level of incompetence.

Great storage solution with affordable rates

Staff were helpful and advised me on the best possible storage solution for my needs.
I visited on different days and greeted by different staff and they were resourceful and happy to help

An extremely frustrating business

You should have uniform pricing ie. You advertise weekly rental prices but the contract is priced per month, this is too confusing for both your customers and staff. Just use the same rate in both instances.
The reserve period is too short especially as you include the day you make the reservation.
Constantly changing prices and offers is a nightmare.
Simplify your processes please.

Convenient location but room for improvement

Actual price and details must correspond to what the company advertises on the site. When a particular size appears available online then it must really be available and not expect the customer to pay a higher price. Quite confusing processes. When one pays so much to use this service one would expect to be provided with a clean storage space and not be expected to come prepared to clean the storage space. When the site advertises that payment could be done via credit card they should not then expect customers to pay cash. When the customer is told that could set a direct debit via a credit card they should not be expected to provide debit card details.

Can highly recommend based on my experience at Shurgard, Harrow

Polite and extremely efficient service , I was shown the different sized units that I was interested in and the man very patiently answered all my questions and concerns relating to the facility. Everything was explained clearly and it was such an easy experience.

Good staff. Bad Facility Info...

Incorrect storage opening times listed for Harrow Shurgard along with broken doors meant that we got to the facility more than once with loaded vehicles and no access to storage. This was a caused a lot of disruption and time wasting for us.

The staff at the facility were as helpful as they could be, but faulty doors and wrong info really marred our experience.
