The sequrity machine for main doors and the magnet of the entrance door offten is down, that creat a lot of inconvenience. As well it is impossible to press “hold” to fix magnets as are in different direction. No one is a rubber to extend self to can bloc the door

I visited the storage site over the weekend and was shocked to see that the pedestrian gate had been left open, for anyone to enter off the street. Since the main door to the storage units is broken and permanently open, the site security is negligible

\nAt Shurgard we use various means to ensure that your stored belongings are safe : all our locations have visible and hidden CCTV to monitor the interior and exterior of the facility. Each customer has an individual code to enter the facility and a personal lock and key to open their unit. Our staff keeps daily surveillance rounds and after opening hours, we work with a professional security company. \n

Very easy process. Staff were friendly and helpful and talked us through the options. The whole process was explained well and completed within 15 minutes. The storage facility felt secure, clean and well organised.

The £9.95 for 10 cardboard boxes are not at all hard-wearing: single use only.

Hello, we're surprised to read you weren't satisfied with the quality of our moving boxes. All our packing supplies have been specially developed for fragile as well as heavy objects. Everything very good, contract procedure, check in, cleanliness of facility. Just needs more trolleys as have been stuck waiting a couple of times as they were all being used.

I would recommend Shurgard to anyone wanting to use good storage space. The service is good, nice and clean spaces. good service all round, staff polite and helpful when enquiring about bookings.

Mend broken entry door and provide more trolleys
We have made several trips over the weekend and the entry door to get to the lift nearest our unit (103) has been broken all the time. There could also be a lot more trolleys as during busy times you can end up having to wait for one as they are all in use.

The manager has a brusque manner that does not come across as efficient, it comes across as rude. He needs to be more friendly and helpful. The emergency contact is on a tiny sticker so very difficult to find. I wanted to report both flooding and open pedestrian and exit gates last week but did not know how to at the time. The number should be on a large sign on the office door.

Really bad service
I reserved unit and spoke to girl over the phone telling her that we would be coming Sunday 11 o’clock as appointment when got there was told unit had gone see said it was 1st come 1st sevice which I feel is not right and was not told this by her when made reservation finally she got us a unit then was told had to pay more as we are in middle of the mo nth this was not written done on paper work she gave me when reserved unit so really she didn’t know much about her job only that she needs to sell units quickly regardless of telling customers the right information
