Indoor units are protected from the elements and have broad hallways (and elevators in multi-story facilities). Outdoor units are usually on one level and offer the convenience of drive-up access.

You are welcome to walk into any Shurgard store and rent in person. Or you can call us for free at 0800 368 0420 to ask questions or reserve by telephone.
You will need to ensure notice is received at least 2 weeks in advance of your actual move out date. Notice must be given in writing – either by e-mail, post, fax or in-store. The notice must contain your name, your unit number and the date your notice is given. On completion of your move out, a cheque refund will be processed within 20 days for the initial deposit, if applicable, along with any rental payment that is not used.
Shurgard offers three convenient ways to pay:
Initial payment can be made by credit or debit card, and cash. Once you have become a customer, you can also create your personal account on MyShurgard and pay your bills online (only by VISA and Mastercard).
We are able to accept cash, cheque, debit cards (Visa Electron cards are in-store only), Mastercard and Visa credit cards. Unfortunately we are unable to accept American Express cards.
